Academics for Europe represents members of the UK’s Higher Education community who are in favour of the UK remaining a member of the EU. Europe and the EU are not the same, but for us they are intrinsically linked: our modern experience of Europe in peace, unity and collaboration developed, and remains enshrined and safeguarded, through membership of the EU – a community of nations. That’s why we are Academics for Europe.
Our main aim is to increase awareness among the wider public of the benefits and positive impact the UK’s EU membership has in academia, Higher Education and society more broadly. We primarily do so via this site and engagement on Twitter.
If you are an academic, a student, or have a connection to Higher Education and believe that the UK’s place should be at the heart of Europe and as an active member of the EU, please join this initiative.
You can become a supporter here, saying with us that you’re an Academic for Europe.
If you want to be more actively involved or have any questions just send an email to email@example.com.
You can also follow us on Twitter @academicsforeu.
And speaking of Twitter: you can show your support for Europe and the UK’s EU membership with our Twibbon.
